Avanim's Jewish Literature + Art Resources

We've added a new element to our blog: a list of links to different Jewish art and literature resources in New York.  A couple of our editors came up with a list of places in NY with great writing eventslike Drisha and NYU's Creative Writing Program, museums with Jewish art and photographylike the Jewish Museum and the Roman Vishniac Archive at the International Center of Photography, publishing resources and book lists—like Brandeis University Press and the Jewish Book Review, and some of our favorite journals (other than Avanim, of course).

We'll be adding to the list as we come across new places to share with you.  Feel free to comment with art and literature events, exhibits, contests, and other things that you think we should add to the list!

p.s. Be sure to take a look at writer Anne Whitehouse's website: http://www.annewhitehouse.com. Anne's poem, "Age and Youth," will be appearing in the next issue of Avanim!
