Avanim, Hillel's Social Justice, and CU Records are coming together to bring you a night of musical performances, slam poetry, and live readings on November 20 at 7pm!
We want student writers, poets, and musicians to come and share their work! All types of poetry, prose, and music are welcome, especially those with a social justice theme.
Interested? Send an email to avanim.magazine@gmail.com by November 14 with a sample piece of work or a brief description of what you plan to perform.
See you all there!
At the event, we will be selling bracelets to raise funds for the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village, a home for children orphaned by the 1994 Rwandan genocide.
